The partnership with Ikon continues with updated graphics and functions to the Barcolana website. Among the "Smart" initiatives of the 47th Barcolana, one finds a new online participant registration system and the new App for iOS and Android, downloadable from the respective stores from September.
The new version of the site has undergone considerable graphic restyling, keeping the most appreciated in look & feel and in functionality from last year's version.
The website, created by Ikon and Nudesign for Illy, offers users a virtual reality tour of the Expo Milano 2015 pavilion dedicated to coffee. Users can explore the history of coffee and how it's produced, from the bean's harvest to its roasting and grinding. Videos and photo galleries adorn the virtual tour's various informative sections, while mini-games test users knowledge of the world of coffee.
