Palmanova XR: an immersive experience to relive the history of the ancient Palmanova fortress

The municipality of Palmanova officially presents to the authorities and the press the project "Time Travel between History and Sport - The Virtual Historical Park of the Bastions," which narrates the history of Palmanova through Extended Reality.              
The project, developed by IKON, allows visitors to travel back in time to the Palmanova of the Venetian era: by scanning QR codes along the Bastions' path with their smartphones, immersive videos set in the city 400 years ago are activated.       
Virtual experiences evoke various aspects of Venetian life at that time: sword duels, militias and muskets, commoners and military encampments.
