The IKEA showroom becomes virtual

IKEA Brescia opens an Order Point in Bolzano and using Virtours technology, Ikea offers its customers the opportunity to virtually explore the Brescia showroom, all the way up to the purchase stage.
Ikon has carried out various 360 ° shooting sessions at the store (with the help of drones) to create a real immersive virtual tour of the IKEA showroom.
Images and videos in stereoscopy are enriched by numerous interactive hotspots that allow the user to navigate between the various areas of the store and to get detailed information on the various products on display (descriptions, prices, etc.).

360 ° shooting

360-degree shooting is carried out with the latest generation of cameras capable of capturing immersive images and videos at very high resolution (up to 11K x 11K). To obtain the maximum level of realism and immersion, the contents are also stereoscopic (that is, they also reproduce the sense of depth by providing two different images for the right and left eyes).

VR + Drone

The special cameras used by the Ikon team can be mounted on drones to generate extremely evocative and engaging images. The drone is then digitally removed from filming in the post-production phase.

The use of Virtours in the Retail sector

The Virtours platform allows Ikea sales agents to easily manage customer presentations, guiding them inside the virtual showroom and interacting with them during immersive sessions. Special profiling and marketing automation features also allow for effective planning and follow-up activities.

To create the IKEA virtual showroom, IKON has deployed a team consisting of:
