Ciclovia Alpe Adria Radweg is the cycle path that connects Salzburg to Grado. The route, over 400 km long and divided into 8 stages, is managed through cross-border cooperation between Austria and Italy.
After winning an international public tender to create the new website, IKON has redesigned the entire user experience focusing on the needs of the cyclist: on the one hand, receiving detailed and updated information on the route, on the other hand, being able to plan your trip by alternating sports, relaxation and cultural activities.
The heart of the project is the interactive cartography section: a detailed map that illustrates the entire route divided into stages and enriched by numerous points of interest. Users can also interactively view the elevation profile, the indications relating to the type of road surface and download the files relating to the GPX tracks.
The cartography includes information relating to historical-artistic or naturalistic points of interest, accommodation and specialized support services such as repair shops, bike rental points and transport.
The site is entirely based on the Hyve360 platform, which among the various features also offers tools specifically dedicated to the tourism sector.
